RIGID TUBES
Made from highly polished aluminium, these light tubes can filter 98% of daylight into any room. The daylight filters through the UV protected polycarbonate dome on the roof and the light then is directed down the tube to the diffuser fitted on the ceiling. Due to its high volume of light, the rigid tube is perfect for high ceiling rooms & buildings. The suntubes come in three diameter sizes, 343mm, 457mm & 535mm. We will fit the tube that is most suitable to your requirements.
The amount of light given from these tubes will depend upon the diameter of the tube, the length of the tube, the position of the dome on the roof (south facing is best), the time of year, the time of day etc. The larger the diameter of the tube and the shorter the tube fitted, the greater the light transmitted.
